Startled by the judge's gavel, rookie defense attorney Ichi Himeguri jumps out of his seat, and his senior's bag falls on his head. He forgets the last few years, even the fact that he is a lawyer. Next to him, close to tears, sits his client Miya Yasuoka, who says she was his junior in the high school handicrafts club.
Three nights ago, the head of the plush repair shop "Nui Clinic" was found dead, and Miya stands accused. The murder weapon, an iron weight, was found inside the back of her teddy bear. Across the room sits a flashy prosecutor gripping a quiz buzzer: Oscar Hayama. He calls himself Ichi's destined rival, but Ichi doesn't remember him at all. No memory. No time. Only testimony and evidence.
- Break testimony with evidence. Hear witnesses one statement at a time and press them on anything suspicious. Examine photos and cards yourself, find the one point that clashes with the story, and present the evidence to break it.
- The hero remembers nothing, either. Ichi stands in court with no memory, so he learns how trials work and who everyone is right alongside the player.
- A cast with character. A gyaru client, a former quiz champion prosecutor who answers before the witness finishes, a judge who is easily swayed, and a senior attorney who loves to explain. Behind the banter, everyone has their reasons.
- Easy to get into. Your senior whispers what legal terms mean, and quick check-in questions help you keep track of who did what.
- One case per episode. Episode 1 takes about 2 hours, from the opening statement to the verdict, all in one day.

A former student quiz champion and a show-off who guesses the rest of the testimony before the witness finishes. Guess wrong, and it's a "False start!" He calls himself Ichi's destined rival, but Ichi doesn't remember him.

A senior lawyer at Ichi's firm. Earnest and loves to explain. Likes to start with "There are two premises." Teaches courtroom rules from the next seat.
